Public Lands Conservation and Trail
Fresno EOC Local Conservation Corps is committed to providing public land managers quality boots-on-the-ground crew services in the areas of recreation, restoration and natural resource management. Services include habitat restoration-riparian and non-riparian, trail building and maintenance, fuel wood reduction, recreational and general facilities construction and maintenance - ADA compliance, building remodeling, decks and walkways, fencing, interpretive signs, etc.
LCC received the 21st Century Conservation Service Corps designation in 2014. The 21st Century Conservation Service Corps (21CSC) is a private-public partnership that engages more than 25,000 returning veterans and young Americans each year to strengthen America’s infrastructure, boost local economies, and multiply returns on our country’s most valuable assets – it’s unmatched landscapes and people. Through the 21CSC, young people and veterans will accomplish meaningful work, gaining important personal and professional skills and also building a lifelong connection to the outdoors. Increasing diversity and expanding opportunities for all youth and veterans are core 21CSC principles.
