21st Century Conservation Service Corps

LCC received the 21st Century Conservation Service Corps designation in 2014. The 21st Century Conservation Service Corps (21CSC) is a private-public partnership that engages more than 25,000 returning veterans and young Americans each year to strengthen America’s infrastructure, boost local economies, and multiply returns on our country’s most valuable assets – it’s unmatched landscapes and people. Through the 21CSC, young people and veterans will accomplish meaningful work, gaining important personal and professional skills and also building a lifelong connection to the outdoors. Increasing diversity and expanding opportunities for all youth and veterans are core 21CSC principles.
