Adolescent Family Life
The Adolescent Family Life Program (AFLP) provides positive interventions to prevent teen pregnancy in high-risk groups and ensures that the health needs of Fresno County's pregnant teens and children of teen parents are met.

Case management services offered by the AFLP staff include, but are not limited to:

  • workshops and activities to enhance adolescent parenting skills
  • assisting teens in developing, prioritizing and achieving personal and educational goals
  • helping teens obtain social and economic independence
  • encouraging and assisting teens in decision to remain in and/or return to school

Eligibility:

  • Eligible teens must be pregnant and/or parenting.
  • Services are provided to females up to age 20 years and males up to age 21 years.
  • The male client must be actively involved in caring for the child/children.
