Family Leadership Institute
Studies show that positive adult involvement in a child's life helps decrease the likelihood the child will abuse drugs and alcohol, exhibit violent behavior, and reduce other risky behaviors learned and/or displayed in adolescence.

The Family Leadership Institute implements a five-week "Families That Care - Staying Connected with Your Teen" model program in various Fresno County communities.  This curriculum-based program teaches parents, teachers, and all caring adults ways they can open and strengthen the lines of communication with teens, thus forging a special bond between them.

The Family Leadership Institute also assists in the establishment of Family Support Networks for individuals who have successfully completed the five-week "Families That Care" program.  These support networks offer adults additional workshops that reinforce and promote the goals of the "Families That Care - Staying Connected with Your Teen" curricula.
