Angelica G. is a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor at our Clovis office. Angelica stands out for her positive attitude, open heart and passion for helping others. Her counseling skills are consistently above standards and are a reflection of her positive attributes. She offers education and support to moms in a gracious, supportive way. She listens to her clients and coworkers, offers supportive feedback, and always has the client’s best interest at hand.
Angelica takes the time to interact with children and moms as she walks through the clinic, often offers a kind, positive compliment to families and staff, and also has a great sense of humor.
Angelica creates a calm, inviting, safe environment for moms to feel comfortable opening up to her about their concerns in their life and breastfeeding. She is relatable, makes our participants feel reassured about their ability to breastfeed, and is a wonderful role model for her moms to follow and connect with.
