What is Weatherization?

Fresno EOC’s Weatherization Program work with community based local services throughout the city installing weatherization and energy efficiency measures for low-income homeowners and renters that qualify. Energy efficiency means using less energy, which in turn can reduce long-term energy utility costs. Some of the benefits of energy efficiency and weatherization include:

• Reducing energy usage for lower utility bills
• Addressing health and safety issues in the home
• Decreases power plant emissions and air pollution
