Exciting news! Starting May 15th, we’re opening up our Community Action Plan (CAP) for public comment. Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission (Fresno EOC) updates this plan every two years, and it’s packed with crucial info about our awesome Fresno County communities. We’re talking population size, service needs, and other important components.

Now, here’s why we need YOU. Your thoughts and concerns matter to us, and we want you, Fresno County residents, to speak up about our Community Action Plan. Your comments will help shape our future and we’ll even include the most relevant ones in our public CAP. Let’s make a real difference together!

Our aim is to talk about how we can use the funds from the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) to benefit our community. Being a federal action agency, this plan helps us understand what our communities need most and how we can make the most of that funding to make a real impact. We’re looking at education, jobs, housing, healthcare, and more to support our community’s growth.

Public comment is open from May 15th to June 15th. Click this link for all the details on how to share your comments. Fresno EOC is counting on you to complete this year’s Community Action Plan together!
