Making Spirits Bright Event Serves Needy Families for the 25th Year!

Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm

What is Making Spirits Bright?

Making Spirits Bright is an annual event coordinated by Fresno EOC Sanctuary and Youth Services and various partners that will provide holiday cheer for low-income families. The location changes annually as each year a new Fresno County elementary school is selected as the hosting site. Deborah Williams Elementary School located at 525 W Saginaw Way, Fresno has been selected as the recipient of the 2018 Making Spirits Bright event aiming to serve low-income students and their families.

Families will receive a warm festive meal, gifts, stockings, a Christmas tree and an opportunity to visit and take photos with Santa. Sanctuary’s Making Spirits Bright event brings together Fresno’s businesses and community groups working together to serve others.

Our 2018 partners include: PG&E, Macy’s Fashion Fair, Macy’s River Park and Macy’s Visalia, USDA Forest Service-Sierra National Forest, London Properties, Cultural Arts Rotary Club of Fresno, and Anthem Blue Cross.

Contact Information: Volunteers may contact Joe Martinez, Sanctuary and Youth Services Community Relations & Outreach Manager at (559) 475-8157 or by email at weekdays from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
