Congratulations to Yolanda Cardenas, our Employee of the Month for May! Yolanda is a receptionist in our call center at our Downtown office.
Yolanda can be best described as hard-working, thoughtful, and meticulous. A person with an excellent eye for quality and improvement, we can always rely on Yolanda for suggestions on innovative practices and feedback on tasks.
She consistently performs at a high level while remaining flexible in her approach to tasks. Yolanda is always ready and happy to help. She has effortlessly adapted to new duties such as texting and emailing clients promptly; as well as, contacting and setting new appointments for potential clients from the WIC online enrollment requests.
A team player, Yolanda, is always willing to help cover at other sites as needed. She also displays excellent initiative as she routinely volunteers at the Farmers’ Market and has been HHC Chairperson since March 2015.
Yolanda’s hard work, knowledge, and dedication has made a positive difference at our WIC program. She is an outstanding individual and a team player who embodies our WIC vision, mission, and core values. Congratulations Yolanda!!!
