The Safe Night Out Halloween event was a great success! An estimated 3,500 + family members came out to Southwest Fresno for the free event which featured haunted houses, a Trunk-or-Treat, games, and costume contests. It was all possible thanks to a huge collaborative effort between partners and donations from the community.

The monster party was held at Fresno EOC Local Conservation Corps (LCC) and the Maxie L. Parks Community Center on California Avenue. The street was closed off on Halloween to allow children a safe environment to trick-or-treat.

A big thanks to our event partners – AmeriCorps, Bringing Broken Neighborhoods Back to Life, CalViva Health Cares, Fresno Pal, Fresno Police Department, Fresno Parks & Recreation (PARCS), Saint Rest Baptist Church, Take A Stand Committee, West Fresno Family Resource Center, and YouthBuild Charter School of California.

Also, a special thank you to the following sponsors who provided major donations for the event: Amazon, Zumwalt Construction, SIMS PBK, Cultural Arts Rotary Club Foundation, EECU, Home Depot (Shaw and Brawley), Community Food Bank, Kraft Foods, Food Maxx (SW Fresno), Just Between Friends, and Poverello House.
