Watermelon Tart
Watermelon Tart is an easy recipe for kids to help with and it tastes great! With our hot valley weather, this is a refreshing treat. Use your WIC fruit and yogurt purchases to make this dish!

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup almonds, sliced and toasted
1 (3-inch) thick round slice seedless watermelon,rind removed
2 cups lowfat vanilla yogurt
1 cup blueberries
1 cup strawberries, sliced

INSTRUCTIONS:

Pat watermelon dry with a paper towel.
Spread a thick layer of yogurt across the topand along the side of watermelon.
Press almonds along the edge of frostedwatermelon.
Decorate top of watermelon withblueberries and strawberries.
Did you know? … This can be a messy dessert to make and eat, butit allows the kids to be involved with every step!
