Community Health Center provides education, counseling and treatment services to men, women, and teens of reproductive age at risk for unintended pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections.  We provide high standard, confidential, and comprehensive medical services to low-income, uninsured and underinsured adults and adolescents through the following services:

Education and counseling to adolescents: delaying the initiation of sexual activities, resisting coercive attempts to engage in sexual activities; involving in youth’s families in decisions related to family planning services. We are an LGBTQ safe space and teen-friendly clinic that promises all teens seeking confidential services will not be turned away

Telehealth Virtual Visits

About Community Health Center

Since 1971, the Community Health Center has provided a high standard, confidential, and comprehensive medical services to thousands of low-income, uninsured, and underinsured adults and adolescents in our community.

Our highly skilled health care professionals ensure quality care to each individual regardless of income, race, ethnicity, age, marital status, sexual orientation, national origin or residence. All confidential services are provided at little or no cost to the client.

We provide education and information to prevent unintended pregnancies, reduce high rates of teen pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections, and improve individual’s sexual health and well being.

We also provide prenatal care to pregnant women. These services include initial physical, regular scheduled follow-up visits, assessments through the Comprehensive Prenatal Services Program (CPSP) and referred to physicians and hospitals for delivery.

Services are provided at little or no cost. Men, women and teens or reproductive age may qualify for Family PACT (Family Planning Access Care and Treatment) services. This program can help you get what you need at no cost.

We accept Medi-Cal, Medi-Cal Managed Care, Blue Cross, Health Net, Family PACT, and a sliding fee scale rate based on Federal Poverty Level income for patients that do not meet insurance requirements.

What is Family PACT?

Family PACT is a state program that covers comprehensive family planning services

Are we a full service clinic?

Clinic services are limited to comprehensive family planning and reproductive health and some general health care such as physical exams, sports and work exams, TB screenings, blood pressure screenings, breast and cervical cancer screening.

Do you provide TB tests and what days and time can we come in for testing?

Yes, available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.  The morning schedule is: 8:30 – 11:30 and the afternoon schedule is 1:30 – 4:00. We do not accept appointments for TB tests.

How much does a TB test cost?

The TB test costs $20 and we accept cash.

Do we accept insurance?

We accept Medi-Cal, Medi-Cal Managed Care, Blue Cross, Health Net, Family PACT, and a sliding fee scale rate based on Federal Poverty Level income for patients that do not meet insurance requirements.
