About Sanctuary Transitional Shelter

What We Do

Sanctuary Transitional Shelter operates an emergency shelter for young adults (ages 18-24 years old) and families who are experiencing homeless or are at-risk of homelessness.

Shelter Services Include

Youth and young adults (ages 18-24) can receive:

  • Shelter Services for 30 days (can be extended twice on a case-by-case basis)
  • Three meals a day plus snacks
  • Basic needs, including hygiene and emergency clothing
  • Housing support
  • Case Management and Counseling
  • Employment and education support
  • ILP and Health and Safety Classes​

Shelter Details

 Registrations

  • Registrations are first come, first served and in person
  • Daily registration is 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the site (unless posted)
  • Registration is in-person with valid picture identification and date of birth verification
  • No referral is needed
  • Individuals must not have a history of crimes against children (as verified by background check and Megan’s Law)

Note: If shelter is full, registrants will be placed on a waiting list until an opening is available
