About Sanctuary Transitional Shelter
What We Do
Sanctuary Transitional Shelter operates an emergency shelter for young adults (ages 18-24 years old) and families who are experiencing homeless or are at-risk of homelessness.
Shelter Services Include
Youth and young adults (ages 18-24) can receive:
- Shelter Services for 30 days (can be extended twice on a case-by-case basis)
- Three meals a day plus snacks
- Basic needs, including hygiene and emergency clothing
- Housing support
- Case Management and Counseling
- Employment and education support
- ILP and Health and Safety Classes

Shelter Details
Registrations
- Registrations are first come, first served and in person
- Daily registration is 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the site (unless posted)
- Registration is in-person with valid picture identification and date of birth verification
- No referral is needed
- Individuals must not have a history of crimes against children (as verified by background check and Megan’s Law)
Note: If shelter is full, registrants will be placed on a waiting list until an opening is available
