Fresno EOC School of Unlimited Learning (SOUL) is pleased to announce Susan Lopez as its new Principal. Lopez replaces Dr. Mark Wilson who retired last month after 15 years of service in that role.

Lopez took the helm of the charter high school in downtown Fresno on Tuesday, October 12. The Central Valley native brings with her 20 years of experience in education, including 15 years of teaching and five years in school administration. During the last four years, Lopez taught math at SOUL and was the Coordinator of Instruction. Lopez said, “I see SOUL as a family which consists of staff, students, parents and community working together to provide a better future for our youth.”

SOUL currently has 167 students and continues open enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year. It is in its 23rd year as a charter high school as part of the Fresno Unified School District (FUSD). SOUL offers a comprehensive multi-tiered system of support for students and families to ensure students complete high school and prepare for their future.
