With the unbearable summer heat, Cooling with Care is back with a initiative driven by Sanctuary and Support Services. The overall goal is to provide much-needed aid such as water and cooling items to individuals facing homelessness in Fresno.

Mark your calendars for a meaningful event on Wednesday, July 26th, as Cooling with Care spreads its wings across four different locations in Fresno. The team’s dedication to reaching as many individuals in need as possible underscores the depth of care and support they aim to provide.

To ensure the success of Cooling with Care, Sanctuary and Support Services are making a heartfelt ask for donations until Tuesday, July 25, 2023. The recommended items to contribute include:

  • Water bottles (both disposable and reusable plastic)
  • Backpacks
  • Compact cooling towels
  • Hygiene items
  • Socks and sandals
  • Spray bottles
  • Towels

Your support and generosity can make a significant difference in the lives of Fresno’s unhoused population.

Donations can be dropped off at the ‘N’ Street Shelter, a haven of hope and care, located at 1545 ‘N’ Street, just diagonally across from Dickey Park.

Let’s join hands and work together to bring comfort, relief, and compassion to those in need through the Cooling with Care initiative.

Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of our fellow community members facing homelessness during these challenging summer days.
