Congratulations to Imelda Leal for winning Employee of the Month for January 2017! Imelda has been a WIC Nutrition Assistant at our Downtown office for over 20 years and has been a Certified Lactation Educator Counselor (CLEC) since 2011.
Imelda is always professional, cheerful and ready to help with any task at last minute’s notice. Due to her dual roles as a WNA and CLEC, she is very knowledgeable, efficient, and offers great customer service to everyone. At any time, Imelda can be seen working at the front reception area, counseling, and offering assistance to staff simultaneously throughout the day. Imelda’s exceptional customer service to both participants and staff has made a positive difference at our WIC sites. The team is grateful for Imelda’s commitment to consistently going above and beyond. She is an outstanding individual and a team player, who embodies our WIC vision, mission, and our core values.
