SOUL’s Environmental Class planted a vertical garden consisting of sage, basil, parsley, and cilantro. In addition to facilitating the successful growth of the garden inside the classroom, students will learn to prepare healthy recipes with the herbs as part of the school wellness program.
What is SOUL?
School of Unlimited Learning (SOUL) offers a classroom-based program and an independent study program. A majority of the students who enroll in either program are credit deficient and at risk of dropping out of school. SOUL’s instructional staff consists of 10 fully credentialed, full-time teachers, who serve an average of 120 classroom-based students, and 120 Independent Study students per semester. Both the classroom-based and Independent Study programs offer the same rigorous academic, standards-based curriculum. Learn more about SOUL
