In this webinar, we discussed the importance of getting clean air vehicles in the hands of lower-income earners and providing equity in disadvantaged areas. We shared how our agency is moving forward in clean air initiatives, providing electrical vehicle rebates and charging stations.

We are excited to be actively engaged in helping residents gain access to EVs through Transform Fresno—a Transformative Climate Community initiative. This partnership with Valley Clean Air Now (Valley CAN) allows eligible residents to trade-in their older vehicle and receive vouchers worth up to $9,500 toward the purchase of a qualifying new or used gas powered vehicle, hybrid vehicle, or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV/EV). If you are interested in learning more about your eligibility to trade in your vehicle, contact Fresno EOC Energy Services at: (559) 263-1599

Fresno EOC’s Energy Services, also through the Transform Fresno program, is actively providing weatherization and free home solar systems to eligible residents in the 93706 zip code. Click here for more information about eligibility.

With the help of our strong partnerships in the valley, Fresno EOC is helping people and changing resident’s lives as we continue the efforts in cleaning up our valley air.

In 93706, we currently have 6 charging stations installed, 10 more underway for installation, and we just received notification that we will have 10 more coming soon. This brief video covers more of our efforts in Southwest Fresno in cleaning up our air by weatherizing homes, installing solar, and providing clean air vehicles.
