Is Early Head Start the same as Head Start?
Although similar, Early Head Start (EHS) and Head Start are not exactly the same.  EHS serves prenatal women and families with infants and toddlers up to the age of 3 years old, while Head Start serves 3 and 4 year olds and their families.

What service do you provide?
Early Head Start (EHS) has two program options: Home Visitation and Center Based services.  EHS is a comprehensive, relationships based program.

Is EHS only for moms?
No, dads and/or legal guardians are able to apply as well.

Are teen parents able to apply?

Will you help me with my child’s behavior problem?
EHS can provide you with information to help you better understand your child’s development (including behavior), skills you can use to redirect them toward positive behavior, and link you to local resources to provide additional assistance, if needed.
